The IUCN SSC Pangolin Specialist Group is grateful to all its financial, institutional and personal donors for their support. We are especially grateful to our individual donors whose generous support has allowed us to respond to the increasing threat pangolins face and work towards our mission. Between 2012 and 2019, the Pangolin Specialist Group has raised approximately £50,000 from donations through this website. The majority of funds spent have been used to enable our members to participate in pangolin conservation workshops, such as those below:

This has enabled us to develop conservation strategies for pangolins, and advance the development of population monitoring methods for the species.

An approximate break down of funding spend between 2012 and 2019 is international workshops (60%), travel, meetings and communications (17%), research (14%), and staff costs (6%).
