Chinese pangolin (Manis pentadactyla)
Pangolins are heavily hunted in both Asia and Africa. Their populations are crashing as a result of huge demand for their meat and scales. They are also threatened by habitat destruction and degradation resulting from human activities. The PangolinSG is comprised entirely of volunteers – specialists who are dedicated to saving these remarkable animals – and relies entirely on financial support from private donors.
